Gardens by the Bay is a delightful park on reclaimed land in Singapore, just behind Marina Bay Sands. I head over late one afternoon to stroll and relax… and I fall in love with this area through my camera lens.
You can walk among the treetops… how fun! It was only a few dollars to do this, and totally worth it.
It’s nearly sunset, which is why I’m yellow in this photo:
As I stroll beyond the treetop area, I come across a giant baby statue? I don’t get it.
This is all so pretty. Singapore has done a commendable job with its outdoor public spaces.
If you’re visiting Singapore I’d highly suggest stopping by, especially if you have kids as I think they’d be delighted by the trees (as this big kid was). Perhaps avoid the mid-day heat by going in the morning or closer to dusk. There’s a laser show in the trees once it gets dark!
