We spent Easter Sunday on Cape Cod with family. While this is more of a personal post, I’ll have travel-related photos coming soon as we did a fun walk to look for whales in Provincetown and toured Chatham Lighthouse.
Morning began with a “reverse Easter egg hunt” where my sister hid candy-filled plastic eggs and my parents had to find them.
My sister bought these bunny ears for photo ops. Surprisingly, Bijou didn’t seem to mind wearing them. Oscar not so much.
My aunt, uncle, and cousin’s family came over for Easter lunch. This is baby Ryden!
We enjoyed a delicious cod dish, pork chops, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, and pineapple bread pudding.
Nap time… most of the adults wanted to join in, too.
For dessert, we ate an assortment of cookies. My sister dipped the strawberries in which chocolate dyed with orange food coloring to make them look like carrots:
And she made her Peeps s’mores dish again! This time she melted the chocolate first before putting the Peeps under the broiler.
Here comes Peter Cottontail…
After eating such a big meal, we needed to walk around the neighborhood.
What a fun day. Love you guys so much!
The bunny ears! And the reverse hunt! And ohhh the peeps!! What a fun post! Your family is the best!
They are pretty great Ha, I almost texted you a photo of our dog with the bunny ears to show Adele just because it was so cute!
